AK GRP MANHOLE, made of fiberglass, is taking the lead over traditional concrete manholes in various new executive surfaces. Sewer lines create a highly corrosive environment, causing leakage in concrete manholes and even worse, infiltration.

Infiltration leads to the entry of groundwater into sewer lines, filling the system and increasing costs. Municipalities nationwide invest billions of dollars in rebuilding deteriorating concrete manholes because they contaminate underground waters and the concrete and reinforcement corrode due to normal water, especially corrosive water and soil, and worst of all, sewage quickly deteriorates them.

The non-reactive nature of fiberglass to sewage gas and our integrated production process make our GRP manholes an excellent choice for any system. Infiltration and water exit are common issues in conventional concrete systems, as sewage gas corrodes concrete "prematurely" and especially damages points where two separate pieces are joined. Our integrated manhole design eliminates this problem.

Using GRP instead of concrete, with lengths and diameters customized to the esteemed clients' requirements, significantly reduces water infiltration and exit possibilities.
